Dr. David Spokane

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but in the world of orthodontics, a new smile can render people speechless, increase self-confidence, create a more positive attitude and for some, give an entirely new perspective of themselves. For Dr. David Spokane, June 1st marks 25 years of bringing this confidence to our hometown and surrounding areas! Recently, Signs By Sam has had the privilege of teaming up with the practice, providing site signage for their Chippewa location – one of Spokane Orthodontics‘ beloved offices. There is no doubt this practice is loved by both adults and children alike, and we want to congratulate Dr. Spokane on such a big milestone!

Dr. Spokane grew up in Monroeville and attended Gateway High School. From there, he went on to attend University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry to complete his Orthodontic training. In the years following graduation, Dr. Spokane worked with Dr. David C. Hamilton, where he eventually went on to purchase his practice. He specializes in full treatment, early treatment, and invisalign; he also serves as the President of the Beaver Valley, Lawrence County, and Cranberry Area Dental Societies.

When deciding to open his other offices, he focused on areas where orthodontic care was in demand. Currently, Spokane Orthodontics has six locations – Ellwood City, Chippewa, New Castle, Cranberry, Aliquippa, and the newly added Ambridge location. He is also partnered with Dr. Melissa Karski, who currently works out of their Cranberry office. When asked about his most memorable experience within his business, he not only notes the love they have for helping people, but also adding an element of fun to the process.

Changing someone’s life by giving them a beautiful smile is always the best experience. Also, recently designing and opening the superhero office in Ambridge…the superhero office has always been a dream of mine.

Spokane Orthodontics has grown to a staff of 30 members, and this number just continues to grow. While building a successful business is important, he places emphasis on continued growth in excellence and service that his practice provides.

While he is not in the office, Dr. Spokane enjoys staying active by working out and traveling. And did you know he is even a certified scuba diver?! He enjoys spending time with his three daughters, Alexa, Karissa, and Julia, as well as watching movies and tending to his fish tank.

Our community is constantly smiling – for our fellow business owners, our families, our friends – and we thank Dr. Spokane for playing a part in it. His practice has become a household name, and Signs By Sam is grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an upstanding business and team of individuals.
